Description of Services: Apartments for older adults * 13 units, 1 or 2 bedrooms

Services include:
  • personal grooming and hygiene
  • toileting and bowel/bladder services
  • dressing, undressing, bathing, washing
  • rising and retiring
  • meal preparation
  • taking medication
  • essential communication services
  • for existing clients, palliative support can be provided when appropriate
Requirements
Fees: Support services are free * rent geared to income
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Client must be 55 years of age or older with a permanent physical disability or acquired brain injury * require assistance with personal care and activities of daily living * have the ability to direct own care * be a resident of Ontario with a valid OHIP * not be in receipt of insurance funds * qualify for Aging at Home programs
