Rehabilitative Care in Ontario (rehabcareontario.ca) is a provincial website that makes it easier for you to find rehabilitative services in your area offered by organizations that are publicly funded and are provided/supervised by regulated health professionals (health professionals with special training such as physiotherapists, physiatrists (rehab doctors), occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists and others).
You can search for community-based, hospital-based or inpatient rehabilitative care programs and services. You can also search by a specific condition or patient population. The location of programs/services can be viewed on a map and programs/services that you are interested in can be added to a customized “My Services List”, shared with others by email and/or printed.
The Rehabilitative Care Alliance has worked with thehealthline.ca to develop rehabcareontario.ca. Data for the website are integrated from thehealthline.ca database and data administrators from thehealthline.ca ensure that program/service listings are reviewed at least once annually and meet inclusion criteria and data standards.
